Newland Girls School
In the current climate of budget restraints and value for money savings, Trafalgar FM were appointed by the Hull BSF consortium of Esteem to look at the carrying out of a full legacy survey of all the Furniture Fixtures and Fittings to Newland Girls School, to identify transferable FF&E and potential budget savings on capital construction costs.
Following the survey, 58% of the items were considered as having a life expectancy of over 7 years, and were identified as being transferable. A current market value was allocated to these transferable items, which was then deducted as a saving against the capital cost of new FF&E procurement.
The survey included the assessment of fixed and loose furniture fittings and equipment and all specialist Design Technology equipment currently present at the school.
“Esteem have an excellent working relationship with Trafalgar FM.
We have found their service dependable and friendly.
Their attention to detail and willingness to listen to our needs has been extremely important and much appreciated.”
